Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1870, a cylindrical jar with cobalt three-petaled clover or flower design, paired with a larger jar with cobalt swag decoration. Smaller jar with hairline from rim and an X-shaped hairline on underside, extending onto base. Larger jar with inverted Y-shaped crack with small pieces reglued near base, extending onto underside. H (of smaller jar) 8 1/2".
