Rare and Fine Small-Sized Glazed Redware Puzzle Jug, English origin, Dated 1810, with highly ovoid body and rounded rim with pouring spout, the tall collar with pierced rectangles and circles, the body decorated with yellow slip and flecks of copper. Surface incised "If you can't find the way to Drink you are a fool I needs must Think 1810". Surface and handle decorated with incised foliate and geometric designs. Flakes to glaze. H 5".
