Multi-Glazed Redware Egg Cup, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1890, with stepped pedestal base and ovoid opening, decorated with splashed copper and manganese over cream-colored slip. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example consigned from VA. Heavy chipping to base. Glaze flakes to rim. H 3 1/4".
