Fine Glazed Redware Handled Jar, New England origin, early 19th century, rotund form with rounded foot, flared rim, and applied strap handle, the surface covered in a lead glaze over a colorful olive, orange, and yellow ground. Provenance: From a long-term Maine collection. 7/8" x 3/4" rim chip. Small contact mark near base. Four small flakes to side. H 7 5/8".
