Glazed Redware Jug, New England origin, possibly Gonic, NH, early 19th century, ovoid jug with rounded foot and spout, the surface covered in a lead glaze over a green and orange-spotted ground. Excellent color. 1" base chip and other small base chips. Handle broken into two pieces and reglued, with additional contact mark and chip. Spout chip. Some hairlines in surface, which are possibly in-the-making. H 9".
