Glazed Redware Jar with Incised Line Decoration, New England origin, early to mid 19th century, ovoid jar with rounded foot, pocket handles, and heavily-rounded rim, the jar's upper half decorated with heavy incised banding and combed wavy lines. Surface covered in a reddish brown lead and manganese glaze. Provenance: Recently found in New England. Light surface wear to midsection. Very minor wear to handles and rim. H 10 1/2".
