Rare and Fine Glazed Redware Vase, Maine origin, early to mid 19th century, diminutive vase with bulbous body and narrow opening with flattened rim, the surface covered in a streaked cream-colored glaze over a salmon-colored ground. Underside features a carved design of a man's bust. Provenance: From a long-term Maine collection. Small spout chips. H 5 1/8".
