Rare Glazed Redware Jug, Stamped Several Times "D.A. BROWN," Genesee Valley Region, NY, circa 1790-1810, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and narrow spout with rounded rim, the name "D.A. BROWN" impressed four times down the front, and in a triangular design on the right side. Surface covered in a reddish-brown lead-based glaze. Missing handle. Flakes to surface. Two chips and wear to spout. Heavy chipping to base. H 10 3/4".
