Stoneware Wax Sealer, Stenciled "J.M. HARDEN / & CO. / PALATINE / W. VA.," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded "wax sealer" rim, decorated with Harden stenciling along with a band of stenciled geometric design and stenciled flourishes. 3/4" chip to inner wax sealer rim. Two small chips to shoulder molding on reverse. H 8".
