Four Small-Sized Westerwald Stoneware Jar, German origin, 19th or early 20th century, all with open handles and brushed cobalt designs, the smallest inscribed "1/2," the largest inscribed "3". One jar includes a Bristol-slip-glazed lid. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. Short hairline at base of largest jar. All in otherwise mint condition. Lid with hairline and small knob chip. H (of smallest) 4".
