Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "NORTON & FENTON / East Bennington, VT.," circa 1843-1847, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and semi-squared spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt flower blossoming from a curving stem. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. Near mint condition with a very minor spout nick and small stone ping on reverse. H 15".
