One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, James River Basin of VA origin, circa 1830, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated front and back with a large brushed cobalt flower. Significant restoration to one side, including much of decoration. Stone ping near base. Restored rim chips. Crazing to surface. H 10".
