One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1870, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated around the shoulder with a series of brushed cobalt leaves. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. Glazed-over base chip. Spidering lines at base and midsection. H 10 3/4".
