One-and-a-Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cake Crock, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, low-walled cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with brushed cobalt swags on the front and back. Hairline at base, extending under one handle. This line also extending from base onto underside. Small rim chip. H 5 1/2" ; D 11".
