Two-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1875, ovoid pitcher with rounded rim, decorated with a two-stemmed cobalt clover plant and clovers on each side. Spout decorated with cobalt swags and collar decorated with a clover on each side. Restored 5" crack extending up from base, connecting to a 3 1/2" unrestored crack on underside. Two restored cracks in collar. 5" vertical hairline on reverse. H 13 1/4".
