Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Butter Crock, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, low-walled cylindrical crock with semi-squared rim and applied tab handles, decorated with a series of brushed cobalt leaves or clovers around the midsection. Salt drip to one handle. Rim chips and two small base chips. H 5" ; Diameter 9 1/2".
