Stoneware Cake Crock with Mismatched Lid, Philadelphia, PA origin, circa 1840, the crock with tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated with an elaborate drape and flowering vine designs. Paired with a Philadelphia swag-decorated lid. Crock with 1 1/4" base chip and significant exfoliation around base. Lid with exfoliation, knob chip, and flakes to edge on underside. H (of crock) 5 1/4" ; D (of crock) 9 7/8".
