Stoneware Canning Jar with Stenciled Floral Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and pronounced rim with wax sealer interior, the front decorated with a large stenciled floral design. Shoulder and base decorated with brushed cobalt stripes. Provenance: Tom McCandless Collection, Hopewell, NJ. Several small chips to inner rim. H 8 3/8".
