Stripe-Decorated Stoneware Wax Sealer, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with rounded "wax sealer" rim, the front decorated with four brushed cobalt stripes. Minor wear to interior of rim. Small base chip. In-the-firing 1 1/2" line at base, extending 1" onto underside. H 8".
