Westerwald Stoneware "GR" Mug, German origin, circa 1770, bulbous mug with tooled collar, decorated with a large applied Georgius Rex medallion surrounded by an incised and cobalt-highlighted circle. Incised and cobalt-decorated vine design to the let and right. Excavated in Alabama. Faint 1" line at base. H 6".
