Two-Gallon Salt-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, NC origin, mid to late 19th century, ovoid-bodied pitcher with narrow, flaring collar, strap handle, and shoulder incised with three lines. Incised "2" on reverse. Two faint lines on underside and two faint lines at base. Two restored chips on interior of spout. Small restored chip on exterior of spout. Additional restored chip on interior of rim. H 13 5/8".
