Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Tulip Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1865, semi-ovoid jug with rounded spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt drooping tulip design. As-made condition with two minor stone pings. H 16 1/8".
