Three-Gallon Stoneware Cream Jar with Cobalt Cherries Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG," circa 1865, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, applied lug handles, and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a cluster of three cherries hanging from a leafy branch. Restored handle chip. 2 1/2" restoration to rim. Some fry to cobalt. A few very minor base nicks. H 12".
