One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," circa 1875, cylindrical jug with rounded shoulder and tall spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a bird perched on a stylized branch. Some fry to cobalt. Two small glazed-over spout chips. Three base chips. H 11".
