Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "O.L. & A.K. BALLARD / BURLINGTON, VT.," circa 1860, cylindrical jug with rounded shoulder, squared spout, and applied strap handle, decorated with three slip-trailed cobalt flowers extending from a stem. Spout chip. Some scratches to cobalt. A few short lines at base on reverse. Small chip on reverse. H 14 1/2".
