Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Chicken Pecking Corn Decoration, NY State origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with applied handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt design of a spotted chicken pecking kernels of corn from the ground. Significant restoration to most of surface, including rim, one handle, and much of decoration. H 9 1/2".
