Six-Quart Stoneware Jar with Stylized Cobalt Decoration, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, circa 1885, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and flared rim, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed cobalt "tornado" design. 7/8" rim chip, along with a few other minor rim chips. Blackish discoloration extending from base on reverse. 1/2" line from rim, which does not extend through to interior. Wear to interior of rim where a lid would rest. H 10 1/2".
