Rare Six-Quart Bristol Slip Glazed Stoneware Churn with Elaborate Cobalt Flower Basket Decoration, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th or early 20th century, semi-ovoid churn with flared rim and applied lug handles, decorated with artistically-rendered design of a cross-hatched basket overflowing the flower, leaves, vines, and dotted trails. 5" hairline on underside, which continues 2 1/2" onto base, forming a Y. Two chips to exterior of rim and one chip to interior of rim. A few very minor nicks to inner ledge where a lid would rest. H 12".
