Glazed Redware Shaving Mug, American, 19th century, cylindrical vessel with tooled foot, strap handle, and attached cup. Surface decorated with a daub of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Several small base chips. Flake and in-the-firing separation to one side where cup joins mug. In-the-firing separation on opposite side where cup joins mug. H 3 5/8".
