Three-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Southeastern U.S. origin, late 19th century, semi-ovoid jug with wide mouth, small strap handle, and visible throw lines on exterior, the surface covered in a drippy greenish alkaline glaze. Incised "3" on shoulder. Rim chips, including one measuring 1 1/4" to right of handle. Small base chips. H 15 3/4".
