One-and-a-Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cake Crock, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1870, low-walled cylindrical form with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied tab handles, decorated on the front and back with a series of brushed cobalt swags. Rim chips. 3 1/2" and 2 1/2" lines from rim. A few small base chips. H 5 1/2" ; Diameter 11".
