One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1865, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and slightly flared rim, decorated with a brushed cobalt tulip design extending across the front. Contact mark on front. Small chip on interior of rim. In-the-firing 3/8" stone ping on reverse. H 9".
