One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1875, semi-ovoid jug with rounded spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt spitting tulip decoration. Desirable size. Base chip. In-the-firing glazed-over light chipping to spout. In-the-firing glazed-over stone ping to right of flower. H 10 3/4".
