Two One-Gallon Greensboro, PA Stoneware Jars, circa 1875, one cylindrical jar with light Hamilton & Jones stenciling surrounded by flourishes, paired with a "Jas. Hamilton & Co." stoneware jar with a stenciled leaf at the center. Hamilton & Jones jar with minor chips on interior of rim. Jas. Hamilton jar with 9" vertical crack on right side, two base chips, and a glazed-over base flake. Also a 1" in-the-firing line at base, light fry to cobalt, and a contact mark on right side of jar. H (of Jas. Hamilton jar) 9 5/8".
