Two Stoneware Bottles, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, one stamped "C. WHITTEMORES MEAD," paired with another bottle with dipped Albany slip glaze, stamped "F.M FRENCH." Mead bottle in mint condition. French bottle with a few minor base chips, in-the-firing stone ping below mark, and small spout chip. H (of mead bottle) 9 1/4".
