Two Stoneware Bottles, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, a Harrisburg, PA bottle stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX" paired with a bottle stamped "L NICHOLAS." Cowden & Wilcox bottle with base flake and small chip to interior of spout. L NICHOLAS bottle with glazed-over stone ping, wear to edge below shoulder and tiny spout chip. H (of Cowden & Wilcox bottle) 9 1/2".
