Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Eastern PA origin, circa 1860, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and ribbed handles, decorated front and back with brushed cobalt leaf and flower design extending from handle to handle. Restored cracks in body of jar and underside, not touching decoration. H 9 1/2".
