Glazed Redware Jar, probably New England origin, circa 1840, ovoid jar with applied handles and tooled bands at shoulder and near midsection, its surface decorated with daubs of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Chips and wear to rim. 3 1/4" hairline from rim. A few very minor spots of wear to handles and shoulder. H 10".
