Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "ALBANY,N.Y," probably O'Connell Pottery, Albany, NY, circa 1860, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with an abstract slip-trailed flower blossom featuring spiraling petals and a cross-hatched interior flanked by spots. Provenance: William Bouck Collection. A series of three in-the-firing surface chips (contact marks) to proper right side of jug. A small chip and minor nick to spout. Some blistering to cobalt at center of design. H 14".
