Albany-Slip-Glazed Stoneware Jar, Stamped "PEARS," attributed to Clarkson Crolius, Sr., Manhattan, NY, early 19th century, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and narrow, slightly flared mouth, the surface covered in a streaky brown Albany slip glaze. Impressed "PEARS" at shoulder. Broken into pieces and reglued. A small rim chip. Base with an area of roughness and a small chip, possibly in-the-firing. H 10 1/4".
