Glazed Redware Lady's Spittoon, attributed to the Bell Pottery, Waynesboro, PA, circa 1850-1885, cylindrical form with coved sides, oval opening at shoulder, recessed circular opening in top and applied handle, the surface decorated with heavily sponged manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Professionally restored handle. A small chip to opening at shoulder. Minor surface residue. Diam. 5 1/2" ; H 2 5/8".
