Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar with Huntington, WV Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1880, tapering jar with rounded "wax sealer" rim, featuring the stenciled advertising, "THE HUNTINGTON CO-OPERATIVE / SOCIETY. / GROCERIES / & C. / 1009 THIRD AVENUE / HUNTINGTON W.VA." Areas of restoration to interior of rim and inner wax sealer rim. A few spots of faintness to stenciling. H 8 1/4".
