One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "HUMISTON & WARNER / SOUTH-AMBOY, N J," circa 1830, highly ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, brush-decorated with a curving flower motif with open-centered blossom. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Small flakes to proper right side of jug. Minor spout wear. Two minor in-the-firing contact marks to tip of floral motif. H 12".
