Small-Sized Stoneware Jug with New York Druggist's Advertising, New York, NY origin, second quarter 19th century, ovoid jug with flattened spout, impressed with the advertising, "JOHN.C.MORRISON / DRUGGIST. / NO. 183 / GREENWICH-ST / NEW-YORK." Surface covered in a chocolate-brown Albany slip glaze. Very nice condition with a small spot of wear to handle and minor chips and wear to bottom edge of jug. H 7 1/2".
