Very Rare Salt-Glazed Stoneware Chicken Waterer, Stamped "WHITES UTICA," NY State origin, circa 1875, jug form with tooled shoulder and dramatically flared spout, the base fitted with an applied watering trough. Excellent condition with a chip at base, a very small chip on edge of trough, and a small chip on interior of spout. A salt drip to proper right side and a small piece of adhered clay near shoulder. H 9 1/2".
