Rare Diminutive Salt-Glazed Stoneware Figure with Cobalt Decoration, American, 19th century, molded, cloaked figure with reverse side flattened, one hand raised to mouth, the surface featuring heavy cobalt highlights under a clear salt glaze. Possibly made as a religious object or part of a cresh. Some old surface wear, which has darkened with age. A minor in-the-firing ping to reverse. Minor base chips, primarily in-the-firing. H 2 3/4".
