Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "A.P. Donaghho, / Parkersburg, W. Va.," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring a diagonally stenciled banner above diagonal A.P. Donaghho maker's stenciling. Excellent condition with a slight slump to rim, a minor nick to shoulder molding, a glazed-over dent at base on front, and a narrow in-the-firing contact mark at base on reverse. H 11 1/2".
