Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Western PA origin, circa 1880, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, brush-decorated with graduated swags between two freehand stripes. A small flake to cobalt on stripe at shoulder. Some light fry to cobalt. Light surface wear. H 8".
