Scarce Alkaline-Glazed Lidded Stoneware Coffeepot, Crawford County, GA origin, late 19th or early 20th century, baluster-form pot with individually thrown and applied tubular spout, flaring rim, and strap handle, the surface covered in a striated, olive-colored alkaline glaze with high gloss. A thin, circular crack on underside with additional thin cracks extending off from it onto base. Bottom was not broken out. A small glazed-over spout chip and small post-firing spout chip. H 9 7/8".
