Four-Gallon Double-Handled Stoneware Jug with Alkaline Glaze, Stamped "J.G.," John Goodman, Lincoln County, NC, third quarter 19th century, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder, flaring spout, and two small open-strap handles applied at the shoulder, the surface covered in a mottled dark-olive alkaline glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 18".
